Stoffel Vandoorne is one of the team's Test and Reserve drivers and brings a wealth of experience. He has raced in Formula One, the World Endurance Championship and more, and is also a FIA Formula E World Champion.

In 2022, Stoffel reached the height of his professional career by becoming Formula E’s Season 8 World Champion, and after a successful stint in the series’ Gen3 era, will aim for further success with Maserati MSG Racing in Season 11

Vandoorne first joined Peugeot’s Hypercar squad as a reserve driver in 2023, getting an early race outing in that year’s Fuji round to stand in for the injured Nico Mueller before stepping up to a full-time race drive in 2024 and simultaneously racing for sister Stellantis brands DS and latterly Maserati in Formula E. He was part of Peugeot’s recent podium finish at Lone Star Le Mans, where he battled through a rain-soaked race to finish third.
